Hermosa Beach City Councilmember and 2026 Mayor Rob Saemann today announced his campaign for re-election to the Hermosa Beach City Council, pointing to his first-term record, and the value of his experience across key disciplines.

Councilmember Rob Saemann announced today that he will donate his monthly city council salary to local civic projects and good causes that benefit the Hermosa Beach community.

Councilmember Rob Saemann has been appointed as Hermosa Beach's delegate to the South Bay Cities Council of Governments housing trust, joining elected officials from fifteen other South Bay jurisdictions in the sub-regional effort to fund affordable housing production and preservation across the region.
